6th grade class plays

Sorry for the delay! Here is the cast list -> cast list for wait wait

A couple of quick notes:

If you are cast as the opposite gender (“Mrs. Elder, I am a girl and it says I am Man 1.”) then please be aware the we will be changing the gender of the character in the show… you will not be playing the opposite gender.

We will discuss crew assignments later. Please be patient.

Please also know that all actors will appear in Scenes 1 and 12 so be prepared to do so.

 

Thanks and remember that casting is a difficult process and I know you do not all have the parts that you wanted, but I think we will have three great shows and everyone will have a good time.

If you have been cast, please be aware that our first practice will be next Tuesday, from 3:45-5pm in the theatre room. Please see Mrs. Elder ASAP if you cannot make this rehearsal.

Improv Callbacks

Everyone did a fantasic job at Improv auditions today! I have narrowed the group down to 27 and those people will need to stay for callbacks tomorrow afternoon from 3:45-5:00 pm in the theatre room. Please try to stay for as much as you can so that I can see you in as many games as possible.

Beginning Theatre Voice Test

If you are planning on retaking the Chapter 5 Voice test, remember that you must attend tutorials this week to do test corrections. The retest is Friday after school in room 315.

“Dearly Departed” Cast and Crew List

This was a very difficult show to cast. There is such a wealth of talent in our class and I think I have come up with an incredible cast and crew. We will begin blocking the week we return so be ready to hit the ground running. Again, please know that these were tough decisions that I did not make lightly. Have an awesome break and congrats to you all!

Actors: Be sure to show your parents the costume sheet (costumes sheet) so that you can begin looking for what you need for the show. All costumes are due by November 31st but you can bring yours by and have me check it early if you would like. Please do not spend very much money on your costume! Most things can be borrowed or bought from a resale shop for pretty cheap. If you have any questions, see me ASAP. Do not wait until costumes are due to show your parents this sheet or get any clarifications you may need. Thanks!
